Today I will update you on the teams that have progressed to the next round from Group C and D.

France and Australia are the teams that progressed to the next round of the Ongoing World cup in Qatar from group D. Argentina and Poland also made it to the knockout round from Group C.

Group D Analysis

France where expected to progress alongside Denmark to the knockout round, at the expense of Tunisia and Australia but that didn't happen. France made the cut, but Denmark failed to do.

France came first in the group with six points after beating Australia and Denmark. Denmark only secured one point and that was from the first group game against North Africans, Tunisia. They lost to both Tunisia and Australia. Loosing to the later came as a shock to many football fans.

Australia were not tipped to progressed to the knockout rounds from a group involving France and Denmark but they surprisingly did. They secured six points, the same number of points as group leaders France, and only missed out on top spot on goal conceded ratio.

Tunisia, secured four points but it was not enough to propel them to the next round. These points came from a draw with Denmark and a final group stages match victory over European giants, France. They were pipped to the final qualifying position by Australia, the surprise parkage.

Group C Analysis

Argentina and Poland were tipped to progress out of this group and move to the knockout round and they didn't disappoint. Their qualification was not straightforward though, as they had to secure it on the final day.  Argentina even had a scare after they were shockingly beaten by an unfancied Saudi Arabia side in what was their first game of the group.

Argentina came first with six points after beating Mexico and Poland. Poland came second with four points after their victory over the Saudis and a draw with The Mexicans.

Saudi Arabia and Mexico didn't qualify as predicted. Though, the former started the competition strongly by beating group favourites Argentina and each player was awarded a rolls Royce as  motivation.

The latter, Mexico tried their best but they could not make the cut. Ever present goalkeeper, Ochoa saved a penalty from Lewandowski in their draw against Poland but his masterclass could not save them. They narrowly missed out on qualification with four points on head to head.

God Willingly we live to see who will qualify from the remaining groups.
