Japan and Spain are candidates who have safely progressed to the next round from group E, while Morocco and Croatia made it from group F.

Group E Analysis

Many football fans predicted Spain and Germany to progressed to the knockout round from group E but no, our predictions could not fully come to pass. Spain qualified while Germany could not.

Enrique's men secured four point after beating Costa Rica and had a draw with Germany to come second after table toppers Japan. The Germans also secured four points but missed out on qualification on head to head.

Japan the Surprise Group leaders, secured six points after beating  the two giants Germany and Spain. Costa Rica came last with only three points.

Group F Analysis

Who would believe that Morocco will top a World cup group having Belgium and Croatia. This is what we are witnessing. Morocco surprisedly secured massive seven points after beating Belgium and Canada and secured a draw with Croatia. This is only the second time they have progressed ftom the group stages of the world cup .

Croatia then came second with five points after draws with Morocco and Belgium and a win against minors Canada.

Belgium surprisingly could not progressed to the knockout round after they secured only three points. This point was secured from their game against Canada, were they were second best for 90 Minutes. This is the first time Belgium failed to qualify from the group stages of a major tournament in about thirty years. Is this the end of Belgium's golden generation?

The unfancied Canada came bottom of the group with no point. Though they couldn't progress, they were able to mark their 36 years absence from this competition with two goals, which they celebrated as though they were a piece of silverware.
