 The first match of the world cup 2022 group B has just finished with Saudi Arabia recording a surprise 2-1 victory over Argentina.

Argentina led 1-0 into the first half courtesy of a Lionel Messi penalty after paredes was tripped in the penalty area. The score should have been more as Argentina had three goals disallowed by Var for offside.

Just early in the second half, Saudi Arabia scored two quick fire goal to turn the game around. They held on for the rest of the game to claim this famous victory.
