Cr7 and Descipline

Descipline they say is the hallmark of every success. This is true, humans can't achieve anything without discipline.

When we talk about discipline, we have to mention CR7. Yes, his name has become synonymos with Descipline. CR7 still looking in good shape in his late 30's is not an accident. Yes it is not an accident. It's down to how disciplined he has been all this years regarding how he lives; from strict diets to persistent training and his sleeping habit.

To start with, his strict dietary demands. He prefers water and vegetables to energy drinks and meat. He disclosed in an interview years ago that the first thing he takes in the morning is water. We can all remember that during the euro 2020 campaign, in one of the prematch interviews, he removed a bottle of coca cola from the table and told viewers to drinks water instead. This action sparked a lot of debate during that time. He applies this same level of descipline when taking his main meals. He once disclosed that he only takes chicken intermittently and that vegetables are his meat.

Furthur more, Ronaldo mentains a good training habit. Solkjaer during his time as Man utd's coach disclosed that Ronaldo is always first in training and last to leave. Even during their time as team mates in the early 2000s under Ferguson. Not long ago utd's official app released a footage of Ronaldo leading his younger mates in a Sprint competition. We cannot forget his love for training at the gym. The ability to maintain this habits is exceptional, no doubt he is arguably the best in the history of our beautiful game.

Last but not least is his sleeping habit. His girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez disclosed in her neflix series not long ago that, despite his training habits he makes time to sleep. According to her he targets close to eight hours every night. No wonder he looks young like a 25 year old.

To be active in professional football for over two decades, is no joke. Looking at his age and achievements in the game, I think he should be considering retirement, but no, he wants to continue to his forties. Personally, I think this value is a strong core of discipline. We can all say his descipline is what brought him this far.

I would like to conclude by saying, Ronaldo and disciple are the best duo I have ever seen. Can you name a better duo? Let me know what you think in the comment session. You can follow me on Twitter and Facebook for updates and links. Thank you.
